The stock fan reached around 40dB at full load (1900RPM) at distance of 50cm.

THERMAL BENCHMARKS
AXP120-X67 (paid link) was tested with the included fan at noise normalised 35db(A) and distance of 50CM.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Thermalright’s AXP120-X67 is inexpensive, has reasonable build quality and effective mounting solution. The included fan is usable and motherboard clearance is good. The real downside to these style coolers is top mounted fan which can cause turbulence depending on side panel clearance.
